Recreation Center

Experience the heart of entertainment at the Recreation Center, the crown jewel of the Coosawattee River Resort. This vibrant facility offers a range of amenities, making it a central hub for resort activities:

  • Enclosed, Heated Junior Olympic-sized Pool: Comfortable year-round swimming with a large shallow end for the little ones.

  • Heated Kiddie Pool: A perfect spot for the very little ones to splash and play in shallow water.

  • Fitness Center: Equipped with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, exercise bikes, Satellite TV, and Wi-Fi.

  • Game Room: A coin-operated arcade with games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine.

  • Outdoor Attractions: Tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, along with an 18-hole miniature golf course. Equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk.

  • Large Covered Pavilion: Available for reservation, ideal for birthday parties.

Fox Hound Pool

Discover the tranquility of Foxhound Pool, renowned as one of the most serene and relaxed pools within the Resort. This outdoor pool offers a peaceful retreat with a picnic area, pavilion, changing facilities, and restrooms. Embrace the quiet ambiance of Foxhound Pool, providing a perfect spot to unwind and relax.

Riverside Pool

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Riverside Pool Center, a picturesque outdoor pool. Formerly known as the “Teen Center,” this inviting space is now family-oriented, welcoming kids from 1 to 100+ years of age to bask in the sun and enjoy the water. 

The pool maintains a consistent depth of 3 to 5 feet, offering a perfect setting for both small children and adults. Toddlers and babies have a kiddie pool for safe and enjoyable water play. 

With picnic tables and the opportunity for camping at Indian Fish Trap Park just a short walk away via the suspension bridge across the Coosawattee River, the Riverside Pool Center is a complete recreational haven.

Canoe Park

Nestled in Eagle Mountain, Canoe Park offers a tranquil riverside escape surrounded by private residences. This quiet oasis invites you to unwind amidst nature’s beauty. Picnic tables dot the landscape, providing a perfect setting to enjoy a book, write a poem, or simply revel in the breathtaking river views. Canoe Park is a serene spot for relaxation. 

While there are no camping sites, the park provides ample shade, creating a cool haven for picnics and moments of respite. Fishing enthusiasts will find the Coosawattee River’s edge ideal for angling (licenses required).

November 2024- Stayed with kids If you’re looking for a top-notch cabin, this is it. Not only is this cabin spacious and immaculate, but it’s also stocked with everything you could want and more. This is a place where you can come and never have to leave. We were very impressed with how clean the entire cabin was—when you can walk around barefoot and still have clean feet, it really shows the level of care. We couldn’t believe how well-stocked the cabinets were, with spices, tin foil, bug spray, etc. All the appliances, furniture, and technology are high-quality. Some of our favorite parts were playing on the Nintendo Switch and enjoying all the supplied games. There was never a dull moment; we were entertained 24/7 and didn’t feel the need to leave the property. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one ranks #1. Five stars—would recommend a thousand times over

September 2024- Stayed with kids River Daze is an exceptional home in a beautiful location! Our Family has been to other cabins in the surrounding areas but we all think this is the best (and cleanest!) one we have ever stayed! It is a real bonus that it is located in a neighborhood with so many amenities and fun places to explore. Jennifer has done an outstanding job making this place welcoming, comfortable and so easy to stay. A well appointed kitchen, large dining table, peaceful bedrooms, spacious bathrooms, cozy living room, convenient laundry area, super fun rec room and two decks with ample seating and spectacular views, made a perfect place for our family of 10 to celebrate our Pop Pop's 90th birthday. Thank you Jennifer for such a wonderful place that we could experience! We would love to return!!
